Description
This is a very high quality equaliser that I no longer use. Its 220v for the UK I used it to correct a white noise generator which it did very well but I now use a digital system. The audio side is 100% .Each of the sliders has an led on it. If you put the slider in the correct / wrong spot you can get a bank of leds to turn off, the top and bottom have three banks each. This is shown in the photos but does not effect the signal at all. Some contact cleaner may well sort it or at least make it better. It really is a great unit and has very low distortion. It will be packed super well ! I found a video of someone doing a service on one, dont know what the language is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfn0kWODb_I&ab_channel=Hi-FiSurgery Here is some more infoA graphic equalizer based on the SH 8065, with a configuration of 34 independent elements on the left and right by adding a variable equalizer that can continuously vary the center frequency of only the low band, resonance peak Q, and band level. This enables more precise sound quality adjustment. The 16 Hz-25 kHz band is divided into 33 left and 33 right bands, and the center frequency of each band is set to 1/3 octave step, which is the base of audio. This is composed of 31 bands of the high-grade spectrum analyzer, 16 Hz and 25 kHz added, and the arrangement of 33 sliders draws the frequency characteristic curve as it is. When used in conjunction with the Graphic Equalizer Checker SH-8000, you can make more accurate adjustments such as flattening the characteristics of the whole system and individual components, correcting the sound field of the listening room, and making sounds according to your preference. It is equipped with a variable equalizer exclusively for the low frequency band. The center frequency can be continuously variable in the range of 20 Hz to 400 Hz, and Q (Bandwidth), which represents the resonance sharpness, can also be continuously changed between 0.7 and 7. If you use this variable equalizer to eliminate standing waves beforehand, you can use the 1/3 octave band graphic equalizer more effectively. It can also be used as a low frequency correction for small speakers or as a rumble filter to suppress unwanted ultra-low frequencies. Each band-pass filter does not use any coil, but uses a semiconductor inductor with low noise and high slew rate operational amplifier IC, resistor, and capacitor to obtain the same characteristics as inductance (coil). The filter circuit employs a constant Q method in which the resonance sharpness (Q) of the frequency characteristics of each band is constant regardless of the level position of the band level control knob. This allows equalization with less interference between adjacent channels, even when fine adjustments are made, as well as when each band level control is moved up or down by large amounts. Two tape decks can be connected, and Tape 1 ? Tape 2 can be dubbed mutually by switching the switch of the front panel. Use the rec out switch to turn equalization recording on or off. Each slider with 34 elements is equipped with an LED for easy confirmation of the equalizer curve.
