Technics SL-5200 Turntable 1978 Rare Vintage Retro Direct Drive Brushless Quartz. Light works perfectly,no broken hinges,good ground wire very clean turntable. I looked for one of these for a while and this was the best (only) one I could find that actually worked and didn’t cost a mortgage payment. It is missing the original black 45 rpm adapter and rubber mat which is a shame but obviously not an issue getting another or using your own,it’s also missing the original head shell and has been fitted with an audio technica replacement this holds an ortofon 520 mk1 A previous owner has stuck tape to one of the lids for some reason but I’ve choose to leave it,please look at the pictures in detail I’m sure it’ll come of but I was ok with it. I dont think there is any need to introduce this Amazing and extremely desirable Direct Drive Turntable from well known, trusted & reputable Japanese Brand TECHNICS !!! Theres not many of them left and available on todaysmarket and to find a REALLY DECENT example like this one here is almost a miracle but Im so sure that you are fully aware of this fact already... As you can see on attached HIGH RESOLUTION Images is in EXCELLENT AND CLEAN VISUAL COSMETIC CONDITION and to be honest with you the only place where you can actually spot some light age related signs of use or wear are only at the top surface of the plastic dust cover which is very normal and on the actual turntable theres pretty much NONE or very little signs of anywear or use at all and dont forget that this deck is now over 45 YEARS OLD !!!
