The tray opens but when a cassette is inserted, if fails to register it (doesnt even give you the option to play) and just opens the tray back up again! No idea whats wrong with it, but the cassette deck will be sold as faulty, for spares or repair only! The set-up can be used fine without the cassette deck, but definitely worth the repair if you have cassettes.If you do not require the cassette deck, please make a note in any offer and I will consider accordingly. Teac T-H500 Stereo Tuner AM/FM Vintage HIFI separate. Average/good condition, but fully working.The tuner does have a small number of marks and a couple of small dents in the casing. The cable has the 2 pin plug for direct connection to the amplifier. Should you wish to plug this into a 3 pin socket you could either use a convertor, available on ebay for £2.60 or replace the 2 pin with a 3 pin socket. The tuner comes complete with a loop aerial as originally supplied. . Please check the photos closely as this is the item you will receive.
