Teac AN- 50 Dolby Noise Reduction Unit. For auction is a Teac AN-50 Dolby Noise Reduction Unit for cassette decks. I am unaware if this unit works so I am selling it AS IS. It is complete with the manual. The physical condition rates at about 6.5 to 7. I say this since the top of the unit has obvious wear. Playback is great, FFW works great, RRW struggles or wont work at close the start of the tape but works fine halfway and towards the end of the tape. Please watch the video. It does record on to tape but I would say it needs some calibration to bias etc to obtain optimum results. I have not attempted to do this. Recordings are brighter than source. Please watch the video. The left hand VU meter is not working. The TEAC A-360 is a stereo cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was introduced by TEAC in 1974 and discontinued 2 years later in 1976.
