The CD Player works but the cassette does not. While testing the cassette, it was playing fine at one point. But then it wouldnt play and I could not get the tape to eject so the tape was stuck in there. Later I plugged it in to test the CD player and the cassette was making noise like it was trying to play but couldnt. Then it started rewinding (I didnt touch anything). I hit stop and was able to eject the cassette. I didnt do any other testing because I was afraid the cassette would get stuck in there again. In doing some research, it may be the cassette head. Since it does reverse, it cold be that the head doesnt line up properly and thats why it wont play. I dont know that for sure though. Just passing on what I read. I didnt try to fix it. Being sold as-is. Sorry shipping is so much. Its in a big box and well packed. Local pick up available if you live east of Pittsburgh although Im not willing to drive far (Im near Monroeville.)
