TEAC Z-5000 Master Cassette Deck The TEAC Z-5000 Cassette Deck is a rare top end Cassette Deck from 1983. It is very sought after, renowned for its superior build quality. The Cassette Deck was pulled from a house clearence a couple of months ago, Its had very little use looking at the pinch roller and head. The Deck is stunning, very clean with just a couple of small scratches on top as normal. The Deck powers up, all displays come on but does not play - It needs a new belt. I purchased the belt a few weeks ago with an attempt to restore it back to service - however its beyond my technical capabilities and should be restored/repaired by someone with expertise. Ive removed the old belt and cleaned up the wheels, put the cover back on. Its mint inside, no signs of dust or rodents! Im actually gutted to see this go, I was planning to use this to upgrade from my Technics RS-B565/Denon DRM-700, but funds and space says this has to go. Needs Attention - New belt required (May need a Service?)- Missing the Output adjustment wheel, these look like they are just covers as they just pop out (see photos) If you can collect I would prefer, Im just 20 minutes from Stansted Airport.
