For sale is a lot of 10 pre-recorded audio cassette tapes, 90 minutes each of Spanish Pop music (mostly ballad), dubbed from radio music in the late 80s and 90s. I have a nice tape recorder with fade in and out feature, so I was able to make a nice recording of the best songs from the radio recordings. In the 80s I was a French teacher, attempting to learn Spanish with no access to Spanish speakers or Spanish radio in the area I lived. I asked my professor how I was supposed to practice, and she said to listen to the radio and slow music, and I would pick up the sounds, phrasing, grammar, and pronunciation, even if I didnt understand it. That sounded rather useless, but it was amazing! I had friends in Brownsville, TX and Los Angeles record hours of radio for me, and from those tapes, I recorded the songs I liked onto finished tapes that I could listen to in my Walkman and at home. (This was pre-Internet, so I did not have easy access to the lyrics, but I gradually figured it out. Its amazing, but when I retired in 2011, there was incredible access to Spanish everything on the Internet and cable television! What an incredible resource for learning languages!) Anyway, here I am down-sizing. I am selling my box of 10 tapes of recorded songs, perfect for listening to the oldies on YOUR Walkman or cassette player! The tapes are 90 minutes, recorded on both sides to avoid re-winding, all TDK except for 2 Maxell UR tapes. The songs have short spaces between them, just like they would be on an album of favorite oldies. They have all been tested to be sure they run smoothly (and to listen to the songs one more time). The cassette cases are all in perfect condition. Ill send the tapes in the TDK box. As I discovered singers I liked, I purchased their albums. I am also selling lots of those cassettes, and if you find some you like in my other listings, I am always glad to combine shipping to get you the very best price.
