Das heißt der Tonarm wird am Ende der Platte angehoben und der Motor wird abgeschaltet!!!!! Das schont nicht nur die Nadel sondern auch den Motor!!!!!!!!!!Es wurden einige sinnvolle Arbeiten durchgeführt! Die Arbeiten hier in einzelnen: Die originale Zarge ist noch sehr gut erhalten. Dann ist die Bodenplatte durch eine 18 mm Multiplexplatte ersetzt worden und schwarz lackiert!!Es sind 3 vergoldete und höhenverstellbare SPIKES von MONACOR verbaut worden was sehr viel Ruhe ins Klangbild brachte!!Der Plattentellerrand wurde hochglanzpoliert !!!!Die Motorsteuerung hat neue Bauteile bekommen!!!! This Thorens TD 145 Mk II Turntable has been in storage for 34 years in a friends closet. A one owner, he bought it in 1976 from Mills Recording in Chicago and used it until 1989. I tested it and it played and sounded great. I dont know if the original belt was installed during the storage, but thats what I tested it with. I also bought a brand new belt shown in the photos for a backup. He says it was lightly used, and it looks good to me. Some of the normal type light scratches on the cover which I think could be buffed out. The audio connector cords are 68, and the AC cord is 63. It has a Acutex lpm 315 stylus.
