I tested this with a cassette tape and everything seemed to work perfectly. I did not have a 2nd cassette to test all the recording functions, so I cant be sure that everything works as intended. So I found this at a neighborhood estate sale, and I gotta tell ya: I WISH Id had a deck like this when I was in high school, trying to learn Van Halen licks. Those recordings were tuned down slightly and the pitch control feature on this Sony deck wouldve been very helpful. Anyway, I cleaned the heads and played a tape on both decks, which worked flawlessly. I didnt attempt to record tape-to-tape, as I dont have a handy blank. I am selling a Sony Model TC-WE475 Stereo Cassette Deck W/Auto Reverse. This only includes the system. This item is in working condition with cosmetic wear as in some scratches. The only issue is that the fast reverse button on the left side has stopped working. Other than that this item is in excellent working shape. If you have any questions please just ask.
