Ive done nothing to it but to open it for blowing out the dust and applying Deoxit to the headphone jack.100% working for stereo (speaker) use. Radio works. Includes a loop antenna that can be hooked up to AM or FM. 1 problem: At minimal volume (ONLY) the headphone jack fuzzes and has a left channel bias -- once you raise the volume more than ~ 1/8th both channels play cleanly and equally. This does not occur with speaker output. All inputs work. All knobs and switches work. Radio string is original and intact.4th photo shows the amp needles moving during playback. Final 2 photos show the internal board and power section. Will ship plastic wrapped and well padded in a box. Message me if you have specific instructions. VINTAGE PIONEER SX-780 STEREO RECEIVER ***pioneer matchbox truck not included*** This is a beautiful pioneer sx-780 receiver that has been well kept cleaned tested & serviced it comes with original manual and schematics. The unit starts off with a beautiful solid cherry cabinet so peeling sides will no longer be a issue. The sides are solid cherry wood and the top is a piece of real cherry veneer. The cabinet is beautiful and was custom done for me by a local wood worker in Virginia Beach, VA. No corners were cut in the build of the cabinet. The face plate is beautiful and presents like new. The face plate was taken apart carefully and polished along with all knobs. It’s near mint with some scratching by the headphone jack but it is very hard to see so please zoom in to see exact condition. Overall very minor wear cosmetically. Glass is clean and free of imperfections. Fm/am dial is clean and free of imperfections and was also cleaned and detailed along with the meters. All lights are working main lights are white LEDs FM and AM work great and get clean sound Phono Tape Aux inputs all work as they should and play equally and clearly. The back side of the unit is very clean, and looks great. Antenna is clean and intact, inputs are clean, speaker terminals A/B are clean and operate as they should along with both AC outlets. Both channels A and B play evenly on all settings. Interior of the unit is very clean and looks great. The unit is all original and has been built To last aside from the leds installed for cooler lighting temperatures to protect the unit from any damage.
