Up for sale this week is this very nice and cleaned Pioneer VSX-5000 stereo receiver. I have personally repaired and tested this unit. Replaced display backlight lamps. Resoldered power supply and power amplifier circuits. Resoldered display elements. Thoroughly cleaned front panel switches using an improved process of mine. All buttons are functional. This receiver is rated at 100 watts per channel with no more than 0.005% distortion. It also has a basic surround setting like most other receivers of its time.
