Superscope R-350AM/FM Stereo Receiver (1973) Assembled and released in 1973, but doesnt look or sound like it! Re-lamped with warm white incandescent fuse lamps 2 years ago and they are still beautifully visible, spreading all that pink glow around. De-oxed at the same time, still flawless! it has the original beautiful pink glow! IMHU The R-350 sounds closely comparable to the Marantz 2220 or 2225, produced around the same time by the same company. This receiver is currently singing through my Klipsch 4.5s, (not for sale here) hitting highs by Streisand and Riperton effortlessly, replicating the speed and dexterity of Oscar Petersons, or Dave Brubecks piano perfection, while also able to pump Molly Hatchets Flirtin with disaster like You can feel the wind rushing through your hair, or bald skull. Listening to Michael Franks or Frank Sinatra, you can almost close your eyes and visualize hearing from your Ex, on the back of your checks..... dis lil pink chick (the receiver) can handle it all, baby...This receiver IS 50 YEARS OLD THIS YEAR!!!!! F I F T Y !!!!!! Ive had her for 15 years-plus! Never worked on, to my knowledge other than de-ox and re-lamping.
