It works best with a trigger switch ( cable included).. otherwise you have to wake it up with a jolt of volume.. I just ran 12v trigger cable from my Marantz 8805A to sunfire and it worked great.. it really is incredible that this can put out the power it.does... absolutely zero issues.. never used as a sole subwoofer.. only used while my new theater room was being built and space Was limited.. decided to keep and put in storage for several years.. but time to unload a lot of my home theater retiries .. always very well taken care of .. comes from smoke and cat free environment..
