I am offering an extremely rare V44 tube studio power amplifier manufacured in the late 40s or very early 50s. I dont know manufacturer exactly, but its outlook shows it must be very early post war production for recording studio from Lorenz or VEB Berlin Studiotechnik. Germany at that time was divided and those companies were located in Eastern Germany. This is very early serial number which is 37 and I have never found or seen the second unit to pair my unit. V44 was legendary studio main monitoring amplifier in Germany till the half of the 50s when newer fully balanced Telefunken V69 amplifier was introduced. V44 is push pull class A 20-25 Watt output power amplifier based on two EL12 power tubes and two EF12k and one EZ12 rectifier tube. Output impendance is 4 ohm, possibly there is an other tap for 16 ohm in a speaker transformer, but I am not sure about that. The amplifier is coming in good optical and very good technical condition, producing full range 30-15kHz spectrum with very musical results you can get from greatest vintage amplifiers. It was overchecked, seviced by qualified engineer who draw back the schematic of this V44 version (there are a couple of V44 versions, the most known were built by renowned MAIHAK). 95% of the amplifier is still original , very few capacitors were replaced only. I am adding matching cables to plug to your own speaker. As the amp was built 70 years ago, it is being sold AS IS with no further warranty for collectors or wonderful tube sound enthusiast. Paradigm Studio cc 490 v.5 Center channel speaker in Rosenut finish. Two 5 1/2 inch woofers, one 3 1/2 inch mid range, one 1 inch high frequency driver. A true three-way speaker which is my opinion are better than two ways for a center channel speaker this is a good sounding speaker. This is a fairly heavy box at 27 pounds.
