Many audiophile believe this is one of the legendary CD player. Sound is warm and clear. Base is tight and full, mid is clear and warm, high is crystal but not dry. One of the astonishing thing that I felt with this CD player is that the stage moves backward and become wide. I think this CD player doesnt have unique strong characteristic but very natural.It doesnt have the sound of hateful brightness and forcing self-assertion. You can truly enjoy the music comfortably with the machine. The condition is not like new but very presentable. There are some blemishes on the right and left side (presented in the pictures) but not so obtrusive when you see the player from the front. And someone applied some black paint on the top right of the front panel(around speed variation) to hide some scratches which I dont know. The inside looks very clean.One strange thing. I found that there is no battery. It looks it had leaked and removed from its place. I dont know what is the role of the battery but the player works fine with the functions which need to play CD at home except Cue functions - in fact, I might not know how to use them. I changed Noise filter-12th picture and cleaned button switches-13th picture.The CD player reads all CDs but when the a CD has serious defects CD quality sign will appear with three digit number but it still plays music without clipping or stop if not last digit number goes over 8 to 9 which means the CD has serious defect and the CD player cannot correct it. I will pack it very carefully so you can get it as you see in the picture.
