1978 Vintage Sony STR-2800L stereo receiver, fully serviced and thoroughly overhauled, improved along the way to ensure a better than new amplified performance. Great looking and fantastic sounding piece of 70s audio equipment, and a credit to anyone vintage set up. As stated, this has been completely apart for a thorough clean, test, and inspection of all circuits, pre-amp, power amp, power supply and fm tuner sections. Wherever found, and we did find, either tired or out of tolerance components have been replaced with modern, higher quality parts, particularly in the power amp circuitry, and this has improved the audio performance and stability notably beyond the original Sony design if im honest! All front function switches and selectors are cleaned and serviced to ensure crackle free and accurate adjustment, so along with its great condition and appearance, this really is a lovely piece of vintage hifi to both own and hear. This can be fully demonstrated if collected in person from me in Arnold, Nottingham (O7875749472), or alternatively courier delivered for the quoted price. Occasionally i can deliver it in person, but check with me first in case youre too far away to make it feasible.
