II-S moving magnet phono cartridge with extremely rare D81-II—S Stereohedron stylus in its original Stanton champagne colored velvet case with all of its original accessories. All are in impeccable condition. This is the “ultimate” version of the 881 cartridge with the best Stereohedron stylus made for it. Some enthusiasts say it’s the best moving magnet cart/stylus combo that Stanton ever made. I tested the cartridge with stylus and it works perfectly and sounds superb. A brilliant cartridge that has quite a strong following worldwide. Ive barely used this cart and stylus and have quite a collection so out she goes to fund other projects. This cart is MM and is particularly awesome at fine detail, soundstage depth and really bring the fine nuances out of your vinyl. Im in New Zealand so most likely will need to ship internationally. Let me know your location and Ill get an accurate courier shipping price but most places in the US and Europe it looks to be quite inexpesive to ship. This is a used Stanton 881S stylus that was working when it was retired several years ago. I no longer have a turntable so I cannot test it but if you find it doesnt work I will accept a return if requested. This item comes in its original case with a small screwdriver (that has a little hardened glue on its grip. And a small & empty metal parts box? I dunno, maybe its a snuff box? All inside a handsome plastic case. It even has the original warranty materials and user manual from 1977!
