This Sota Sapphire is non-working/for parts only. It was purchased as part of an estate liquidation so we do not have the history. But all equipment from this single mans estate has been well cared for. Cosmetically it is excellent condition. The turntable dust cover is clean with minimal light hairline scratches and NO cracks. We hooked up the turntable and could not get it to power on. We are not familiar with this vacuum style turntable so have not attempted any repair. We do not have the original Sota box but we do have the tonearm original box. Because of its rigid and self-damping polymer construction, the clamp avoids the usual sonic signatures associated with other clamps. It has been designed to be neutral, forcing the mat to dampen.
