ALMOST BRAND NEW CONDITION RARE GUN METALCOLOURED FULL METAL CASE SONY WM-DD33 WALKMAN PERFECT WORKING ORDER SOUNDS INCREDIBLE AND MADE IN 1990 Re listed due to a complete time waster! From my own collection, as in my display collection, not a used Walkman. My 1st gen DDs are for that.NO BROKEN GEAR CLICK 100% GUARANTEED!!This particular DD33 is excellent throughout, with virtually no marks anywhere & looks brand new. There are 2 tiny marks, which can only be seen with a bright light, at a 45 degree angle, just below the DD QUARTZ to the front bottom left. Cant even photograph these in daylight, they are that tiny. All corners are unmarked, the clear window is unmarked, there are no rub marks, no wear marks, nothing at all. I have maybe played a total of 4 or 5 cassettes in total through this DD33, & only whilst testing it. Ive never used it as a Walkman I carry around as it is too good to risk anything.The final two photos also shows the broken main big gear! Before, the big black gear is snapped in half! And after, the complete replacement with a brand new big white gear!The WM-DD33 was the last in the SONY Disk Drive line between 1982 to 1990! The DD33 is one of the best sounding Walkmans ever made!The sound this Walkman produces is incredible, & the power it plays back at is incredible too! Personally, I think the DD range of Walkmans are the best sounding of all.This has been extensively serviced with some brand new parts replaced.The playback head has been polished, cleaned & demagnetized. All buttons, switches, slides & springs have been cleaned & only lubricated in key areas. All electric switches & capacitors have been checked & cleaned. Entire PCB has been replaced with brand new old stock. Main large gear, & a secondary smaller gear, has been replaced with brand new, so there is no click, this will not occur again (see last two photos showing this being fitted). Disk drive capstan & pinch roller have been fully serviced & cleaned. Quartz locked 3KHz playback speed has been checked & verified. In total, this has had over £160 of brand new parts added. They were not worn out, they simply either cracked or were faulty due to age, not use.The work done ensures that this now 33 year old Walkman will last for many more years to come! It sounds incredible!The cassette bay looks very tidy, like new! The battery slot has no signs of acid anywhere!All the switches & slide buttons work perfectly!This overall is in mint, fully working condition, hence the price! These are so rare fully working in this condition!This sale is for the SONY WM-DD33 serial numbered 229839, the original 1990 dated owners manual & the soft leatherette case only!The soft leatherette case does show signs of deterioration along the piping only!Please study the photos as they too are part of the overall description of this Walkman!Why am I selling this?
