I tested the vcr Worked fine - hooked up with ( phone audio out ) to white & red rca to my tv AV then video out to yellow AV on my tv. video and sound played , pause ff rewind slow eject play stop all worked Panasonic PV-8000 Portable Video Cassette Player Recorder Has a battery in it . NO clue how good battery is ( has i battery meter on vcr says its omost full charged & PV-A850 Programmable Tuner /Timer withRemote turned on and off tuner and changed channels This thing does all kinds of stuff to record I dont know how it works lid flips up and all kinds of buttons for recording it has a plug it back that plugs into the vcr think it power the system im including the 1 cord for audio but will need a single audio video rca to hook up video not included There also other ways to hook up but i didnt have the other cords to try please see pictures sold asis no returns ,
