Sony Dictation Machine Sony TCS-580V Tape Cassette Voice Recorder PLEASE READ The battery compartment plastic has slightly chipped in the corners (pic 6)…as such the battery compartment doesn’t close perfectly…it stays shut when still, but can flap open when it’s moved about. A bit of tape would solve this. …I don’t have any tapes to fully test it…but it powers on and the red light comes on (pic 2)…and the reels turn when you press play, rewind, etc. The tape counter also moves when play is pressed. The battery contacts could probably do with a clean…as sometimes the batteries need a bit of a wiggle for it to power on…again likely an easy fix. Sold as seen - no returns.
