With Dolby S and a decent quality tape it was almost impossible to tell the difference between the original and the source. High end 3 head transport Powers up and the door opens and closes, however it will not play cassettes. It probably just needs a new set of belts to work. In great condition. Sony TCK 611S Cassette Deck. Dolby B, C & S. HX Pro. Excellent Condition. A high end Sony 3 head deck from 1993 that records and plays at extremely high quality with 3 heads and manual tape calibration, including built in test tones, enabling you to fine tune any cassette to record brilliantly on this deck. A great deck if you’re wanting to get into the cassette revival and appreciate the enjoyment of a good and well set up deck. This deck has had a very easy life with low hours. All the decks I have for sale are fully re-conditioned back to as close as possible to manufacturer specifications and I’m not just talking about cleaning the play head and capstan. This deck has undergone and extensive service including: Tape path alignment, transport service and clean including fresh lubricant using Molykote EM-30L synthetic grease. New pinch roller and belts (x2). Heads and capstan fully cleaned. Azimuth and speed checked and adjusted. Output, eq, record and internal bias levels calibrated. Heads demagnetised. Works perfectly. In excellent condition cosmetically, almost unmarked showing very light signs of use. Low hours. Please inspect the photos carefully for details. Unit, power lead, user manual and service sheet only.
