Sony TC-WE835S Double Cassette Deck Player - PARTS/REPAIR - AS-IS - EB-11982 Deck will power on but wont do much else, the right door seems to have a broken latch and wont stay close. All buttons still seem to input properly but I would imagine the belts are loose or broken. Unit has very little cosmetic wear and outside of a couple scratches and scuffs the deck is in great condition. As this item is being sold AS-IS, this item should be considered to have defects, and we have done our best to disclose them. In the case of an item that doesnt function as intended, there is a chance that other flaws, that we are not aware of, may be present. Please take that into consideration when purchasing. Sony TC-WE835S Dual Cassette Deck This unit appears to need new belts. The unit powers on, but neither side will play/RR/FF, and sounds like a belt issue. There may be other things that need to be serviced as this is a 24 year old cassette deck, but no other testing was done. This unit comes with the remote & owners manual as well. This was originally bought for a relative in 2012 who did not use it so it has been sat around unused for a few years. I recently replaced the belts as they had perished.
