** TWO **SONY TC 630 Vintage Reel to Reel Stereo Tape Recorder 4 tracks 3 Speed. Both of these are working but need tlc as would be expected of a 40+ year old unit. Someone in the know could make an excellent single one by combining the best parts of both. Internally they need cleaning and servicing. Both turn on and play tapes, one records. Im not an expert, Ive had one of them since 1983 and used it a lot and everything worked but then was unused for several years. The other I bought for parts to do the other up but never got round to it. I think the 2nd one doesnt have a record head. The amplifiers on these are both sound. One set of speakers included. Too heavy to post so collection from Warrington, Cheshire only Im afraid. Any questions please ask.

I have tested this as per the video. The Fast Forward button does not operate. Rewind is fine. the capstan needs the old grease removing....as I believe this has gone hard and means it takes a time for it to slow the tape down when you press play. Selling a single speaker (1 only) for a Sony TC-630 reel to reel recorder. This would be the LEFT side speaker when facing the front of the closed-up TC-630. Speaker works, sounds great. The ~10 ft. cable and plug are in very good condition, cabinet has original hardware with some screw heads being slightly rusty. One foot is missing and the other is broken. There is a slight ding on the speaker grille. No rattle or any other speaker distortion. I would love to sell the other one, but I have no idea where it is or what happened to it.
