This beautiful and all-original Sony TA-E1000ESD Multi Channel Pre-Amp/Processor Amplifier is a high-end receiver in excellent condition. With many inputs and outputs, you can connect multiple devices and enjoy your favorite music or movies with exceptional sound quality. I’ve tested the device and everything appears to be working fine. Selling because I upgraded to a different ES Pre-amp and amplifier and this one is no longer needed. Up for grabs is this very nice, ready to go Sony TA-E1000ESD preamplifier set. This is from my personal collection and it was just serviced just prior to posting this. The power supply section was re-soldered, volume + balance potentiometers de-oxited, and fully inspected. All caps tested perfect using an ESR meter and one of the muting circuit output transistors replaced. This was part of my personal ES collection but it has been sitting lately and I have switched to a different ES pre-amplifier for now. The unit comes complete with both side panels, original RARE remote, all packing inserts, manual/paperwork, and even original sales receipt! You will be hard pressed to find another this nice with everything like this one. All inputs sound wonderful including the phono stage, and all pre-outs work just as nice. The front display is perfectly bright with no dim spots. Please check out all pictures and ask any questions! As with most units I offer up for sale, I guarantee this to work properly for 60 days from the delivery date and back that up with eBays 60 day free return policy. This will be shipped with an outer shipping box and packing peanuts in-between the two for added cushioning and to protect the original Sony retail box.

Up for sale is a beautiful condition Sony TA-E1000ESD pre-amplifier. This unit was pulled from my Hi-Fi setup and was stored in an air conditioned environment. This pre amp has a plethora of inputs; everything from phono (with built in preamp!) to digital coax and optical lightpipe obviously HDMI wasn’t a thing when this was new. Sound wise, it sounds excellent (I paired it with a Sony TA-N55ES power amp) it’s a very transparent and natural sounding unit but can be tweaked with the parametric EQ. Cosmetically, the unit is in phenomenal shape with virtually no blemishes to speak of. All the knobs are metal and not plastic and are very smooth in operation. The VFD display is bright and healthy and there’s an option to turn it off altogether. This listing also contains the somewhat rare and coveted Sony RM-P1000 remote control, the remote that would’ve originally come with this unit. The battery compartment in the remote is nice and clean. The original box, despite being in somewhat rough shape is also included along with stickers showing the history of this particular unit (I am not the original owner and wasn’t even alive when this thing was new lol!) As for shipping, the unit will of course be double-boxed with the pre-amp wrapped in bubble wrap in it’s original box and then that box wrapped in more bubble wrap and placed into a bigger, sturdier box.
