This is a junk item. The 333ESL and 333ESA have only MOS in the end stage, but this unit is a complete MOS amplifier with MOS-FET in all stages. Also, the amplifier after this unit is a single push, but up to this unit, it is a para-push, which is advantageous in terms of bass push and power. The following is a list of operational checks, however, we cannot guarantee the operation of this unit as it is junk. As mentioned above, one channel may be unstable during normal input.Direct input outputs from both left and right channels and does not cause instability.Even with the adapter input (which can be used as an input terminal), there is no instability with output from both left and right channels.No lamps are out at this time, all lamps are lit.There seems to be no galling in the main volume, tone control, or balance.The tone control and balance are functioning properly.All of the various switching switches are functioning, mono/stereo switching and speaker A/B jacks are also functioning properly.Phono input, subsonic, and REC (due to lack of recording equipment) have not been tested.The exterior has some scratches from its 30 years of age, and there is a noticeable defect on the side panel, but it did not show up well in the photos.A remote control is not included, but we were able to adjust the volume and switch between inputs with a compatible SONY remote control we have.The above checks were done with speaker terminal A.
