Description
Here is the Sony STR-K700 6 channel home theater receiver, tested, proving to be fully functional from all input types and to all output channels. All speaker outputs, including the Subwoofer, are for stripped wire ends, connecting to the receivers spring clips. This receiver was marketed with 6 Sony speakers, including subwoofer. But, if you have a powered subwoofer, you can connected to it from this receiver with no adapter required if it has speaker level inputs. The remote control is original Sony audio system remote with compatible buttons for each input and surround decoding mode, plus Volume, tuning, and channel level controls. I see here on ebay several sellers rating output power on this model as 700 watts, others using 100 W per channel. I dont know where theyre coming up with this, unless theyre copycatting each other. It is rated at 133 wpc from all outputs except Subwoofer rated at 135 watts. But, that is @ 1KHz with 10% distortion. Being an audio purist, the rating I would use is 85 watts/ch, 120-20KHz, into 6 ohms, with .7% distortion (thats 7/10), which is where the 510 watts total comes from. This unit has lots of flexibility for accepting your music/sound source devices, having both coaxial RCA and TOSLink optical digital stereo audio inputs and 4 stereo pairs of line level RCA inputs. Theyre labeled as SACD/CD, DVD, Video 1, and Video 2, but you can use these inputs for ANY line level input, including a cable TV or satellite TV receiver, a mp3 player, your smartphone, etc. Prompt, insured shipment will be provided at cost calculated by ebay for FecEx ground service to your delivery address.
