Up for bidding is the Sony STR 2800. In aux mode, I was using a CD player and it sounds great! Powerful, and has good soundstage. Very impressive for 20 watts per channel - sounds a whole lot better than the other 20 - 35 watt per channel receivers that I have. It does have some hickups though - the phono is finicky sometimes the right channel works sometimes, sometime it doesnt. Am works, but I couldnt get fm to tune anything in and its missing the aluminum power button, but in Aux mode which most of us use nowadays, this receiver is a winner. Sold for parts because of the listed item above.

When last tested a few years ago, this receiver worked as a pass through HDMI device that would send an A/V signal to the TV and pass sound through to the speakers, but none of the advanced features such as Dolby Atmos were working. A firmware update was needed, but it needed the firmware update already installed in order to connect to the internet to check for a new firmware update. Sold as-is/for parts or repair. It has been sitting in storage for a few years and the above may or may not still be accurate. Sold As-Is. All sales final.

This is for a used Sony DA2800ES Receiver. It is in good working condition. This is one of Sony’s last few best receiver before they went downhill with quality. This will come with power cord and remote control. Please note that there is one missing dust cap for the digital audio input. It still works as intended without it. I used it all the time without issue.
