Im the original owner. I believe the original price was $3,500. A few years ago, I gave away all my SACDs and CDs and promised myself I would list this player for sale. Then I brought it to the garage and promptly forgot about it. I took it out of the garage this week to list it for sale. To test the unit for sale, I purchased and popped in a dual-layer SACD. Unfortunately, the player would only recognize the CD layer. (CD layer sounded great, for what it is worth). After searching the internet for a couple minutes, it looks like this is a common issue, which can potentially be resolved by some combination of cleaning, realigning, or replacing the SACD laser. No idea, and dont quote me on that. If I was handy, I would try to fix it myself, but Im not. So Im just listing it as-is. It played single layer SACDs just fine last time I tried one (several years ago), but I dont have one on hand to test, because (as I mentioned) I gave away all my SACDs and CDs. I forgot to test the remote before I taped up the box, but I have the original remote, and it worked just fine last time I used it. Also, there is a film or deterioration or corrosion or something on the outside of the player. I have no idea what this is or how easy it would be to clean. Box has seen better days because I use the box every time I move, and Ive moved a few times since I bought this guy. Es ist knapp 25 jahre alt aber war sehr sehr wenig im betrieb. Faktisch neu. Ohne Gebrauchsspuren, es war immer abgedeckt !!! 220V AC. Alles original...innen und aussen auch !!! Funktioniert perfekt, der zustand wie neu !!! Gewicht ist 25kg darum der Versand ist sehr teuer. Ich bevorzuge eine persönliche Lieferung nur Kroatien, Slowenien, Slowakei, Czech republik, Österreich und Deutschland (wir uns treffen irgendwo).
