After that, I disassembled the whole monitor and cleaned everything. Then I removed the CRT, cleaned it and reinstalled it. Then I serviced all your boards. I installed the capacitor kit for this PVM. This covers the Power Supply, Neck Board and Deflection Board. I completely reflowed the solder on the neck board and the power supply board. I also reflowed solder on all the other boards on the vital components. Once all the circuit boards were serviced, I cleaned them and installed them in the monitor for testing. Each function was tested on the PVM and it is all working as intended. After the warm up period, I adjusted the CRT for all the calibrations listed above. Looking to sell my Olympus PVM. Recently bought a couple months ago online and unfortunately the item was damaged while shipping. I’ve listed the before and after pictures to show how badly damaged the item was. The item did turn on and was tested before it was shipped but unfortunately the power button broke so I had no way of testing it and I’m unsure if there’s a universal remote available. The screen appears to be intake and in good condition. It looks like the plastic cover just broke however I am not an expert on repairing. This is a very rare and expensive machine so I’m looking to send it to a good home. Due to have heavy and previous experience, the product is local pickup only. Offers and questions are available!

The monitor was in pristine working condition until I shipped it fedex ground, they managed to break the trim bezel around the screen. Instead of handing it over to fedex so that a damage claim could be filed the customer instead went to ebay, got a return label through them for return via USPS. And USPS totally trashed it. Virtually every piece of plastic was broken by the time it got back to me. This board, which would appear to be the power supply section, appears to have survived. Its instances like that that make me wonder why I bother to sell things on ebay. Obviously with the TV in pieces there was no way to retest the board. All items are sold as is with no warranty offered unless one is specifically stated. However, IF you pay the Buy It Now price and find a problem that you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it for a refund of the purchase price.
