Theres a couple of functional issues: 1. both dustcover hinges are broken exactly the same (visible in last photo) so the cover doesnt stay up; 2. the cueing mechanism makes a mechanical noise while the arm is going up or down but the tonearm is otherwise silent- may just need lubrication. Also, the stylus drop-down point may need a slight adjustment inward- some LPs work fine, with others the stylus slides off the LP edge. Manual (not included but available on vinylengine.com for free) shows how to do it- the original key is missing but a screwdriver can be used (the adjustment is under the removable rubber button next to the tonearm pillar and anti-skating adjustment).
