This classic and very desirable mid end audiophile turntable is in good operating condition. The unit is cosmetically outstanding with the only faults being some very small marks to the dust-cove, but is consistent with a 20+ year old Hi Fi component and you must look close to see them. The plinth is in great condition and all the bright work on the table and tonearm are in outstanding unmarked condition. This turntable has been re-lubed and/or re-greased where necessary, and a new turntable belt has been installed. This unit has been cleaned, adjusted, tested, and fully detailed! Regardless how good the turntable, it still needs a quality Phono cartridge to extract and deliver the high quality sound from the vinyl. This is an area most neglect! A turntable will only sound as good as its cartridge. So, this unit has been matched with a high quality SONY 4211-D6 Phono Stylus. Listening to this unit is absolutely a dream.
