Having a spare remote is always a wise investment especially when it comes to this Mark Levinson remote since they dont make them anymore. Remote was just serviced at a Mark Levinson authorized service center so it operates 100%. If you own Mark Levinson gears (pls make sure this remote will work with your model), you have already made a major investment into this hobby so having a spare remote is just prudent.
