Though I cant test a complete 5.1 setup anymore, my memory is that it runs fine until you push it past a certain volume, then it enters protection mode. Now there is a faint buzz on power up--honestly could have been like that a long time but I never noticed. I noticed it on my workbench which is a much quieter environment. Has been in a climate controlled garage since. Absolutely loved this but dont have the space to keep it anymore. Very minor scuffs.
