For sale is a Sony MD Walkman MZ-R35 from around 1998. The item comes with the original battery and pouch. As I no longer have the charger, I am unable to test. However, it has been in a covered attic box for nearly 20 years so I would not be confident it would be in full working order.

Tested & Working Sony MZ-EP11 Minidisc Player & Remote RM-MZ35 Mega Bass MD. This unit is very clean and well taken care of. Everything functions normally. The remote has some surface signs of wear on the plastic. Takes 1 AA battery.

Sony MZ-R35 Portable Minidisc recorder/player. Bought new by me back in the late-ish 90s. Well loved, this used to accompany me on the 2 mile walk to and from work 3 times a week for about 3 years, hence the signs of wear. It then came with me when I moved away from home until it was replaced with phone MP3 players about 12-15 years after buying it. It was used very sporadically after that to take sound desk recordings of a few gigs I played but has mostly sat in a cupboard since about 2008. Amazingly, it still works although note that the battery does NOT seem to hold any charge and will need to be reconditioned or replaced. Doesnt have anything that came with it other than the charger. 8 discs included which Ill try and get around to wiping before posting (but no promises).
