RARE 1990 SONY WM-EX60 REMOTE WALKMAN JAPANESE CASED IMPORTEXCELLENT SOUNDING FULL METAL BODY From my own collection: 1990 SONY WM-EX60 in British Racing Green Full Metal CaseThis is the rarer Japanese import with the EX DBB instead of MEGA BASS, as all the European models had instead. This very clean example has had the following work done to it to ensure it works for the next 25+ years: The playback head has been thoroughly cleaned & demagnetized. Both capstans have been cleaned & demagnetized. Both rubber pinch rollers have been replaced with brand new. All gears & switch gear have been cleaned & lubricated. All capacitors have been checked. Playback speed has been calibrated to 3KHz.Every function works 100% correctly. The sound is very punchy & very dynamic. There is only one tiny chip of green paint to the lower front edge, below the cassette window. Easily touched up with matching green nail polish. See photos.There is no battery acid damage to either the Gumstick battery terminals or the removable AA battery holder! What is included with the sale of the WM-EX60 Serial Number 55982: Japanese hard case, original remote headphones, AA removable battery holder, working NC-6WM Gumstick battery, Japanese 110v charger, original sales paperwork dated 1990. A word of warning to unscrupulous buyers:All the internals of my Walkmans have security microdots placed! These are applied within on all key component areas internally.
