Vintage Teak Sony HP-550 Speakers 1967 V.C. Impedance 8 Ohm Japan - Untested. These cube-shaped Sony speakers were manufactured in Japan in 1967 and are made of high-quality teak wood. They have a V.C. impedance of 8 ohms. These front right and left speakers are wired and have not been tested, so they are being sold for parts or not working. These Sony HP-550 speakers are a great addition to any vintage audio collection or for those looking for a unique and stylish decor piece. Their brown teak wood finish and cube shape make them stand out while their high-quality sound makes them an excellent choice for any home audio setup. Please note that due to their untested condition, these speakers are being sold as-is with no returns or refunds. Cabinets are nice for their age, have some flaws as seen in pics. Overall very clean! I have no way of testing these as my record player speakers are hard wired and dont have the correct wires. Inner speakers look to be in good shape as pics show. Otherwise tapes are in good condition. 1 - Factory Sealed Sony SLH-7-550-BL the back paper for writing what is recorded has yellowing. 1 - Used Sony SLH-7-550-BL plastic box has a Teac reel with tape on it in good condition. 1 - Used Scotch 7 Reel with tape, no box good condition. 1 - Used Scotch 90 7 Reel in plastic box. Box needs cleaning otherwise the tape is in good condition. 1 - Used Scotch Magnetic Tape 290 Box which has an AKAI Demonstration A Tape in it. Box has condition issues, however the tape is in good condition. 1 - Used Scotch Magnetic Tape 215. Box has condition issues, however the tape is in good condition. 2 - Factory Sealed Scotch Magnetic Tape 215. The factory seals do show some condition issues, but the tapes are new. 6 - 7 plastic Maxell Reels. 3 clear 3 black. These need cleaning and do have some scratching and some rough spots on the plastic edge, I dont believe thus would affect being able to use them. I did not factor these in my pricing decision. Please know that I use new and recycled materials for packaging and it may smell a bit musty from being stored. ..

Lautstärkeregler dreht etwas unrund, aber geht und an der Bodenplatte wurden 2 Teile geklebt (siehe Bilder) - (sieht man, wenn es normal so steht gar nicht ) Also, Gerät ist nicht ohne Macken und wird auch aufgrund des Alters vorsichtshalber als defekt verkauft ! I recently acquired a very large lot of mostly new old stock, open box condition vintage audio equipment. There are many receivers, turntables, 8 track players, cassette players, speakers, tube kits, radios, ect. All of these items are from Whitney’s estate, a man who had a 1970’s habit of purchasing a great deal of the stuff that he loved. There is so much stuff, that I can’t possibly test every single function of every single unit. I will be thorough in my initial inspection and test for power, switch and pot response, faceplate functionality, and everything else I can test for easily. However I do not have the time to hook up auxiliary components such as speakers, phono inputs, ect. Most of these items are in pristine, unused condition and have not been powered up for nearly 50 years. Please expect that these units will likely need some routine maintenance to be performed. Such as any rubber belts on cassette and 8 track players are likely to be dry rotted and may need replacement, turntables may have dried up grease that will need to be removed and replaced with fresh grease, as well as any other ailments of 50 year old electronics. Due to the overwhelming nature of this estate, I cannot accept returns. However, if there are any major issues outside of routine maintenance or things like replacing rubber belts, replacing lights, scratchy sounding knobs ect please contact me and we will work something out.
