USED VERY LITTLE, in really great condition, works great. This 400 CD or DVD player shows some very minor signs of normal use, from dusting and sitting on a shelf. The photos enhance the minor flaws (and dust from storage) but the machine and remote are in really great shape. Has HDMI output, NO cables are included. Being sold by the original owner, no children ever used this machine. As seen in the photos, it has been tested and is proven to be in good working order. 2009 Model. Thanks for looking!

I purchased this Sony player new from B&H Photo in October 2005. It is in excellent condition with almost no signs of use. It is in perfect working order. I have always used a universal remote control so the remote was not used and was stored without batteries in it so no corrosion or corrosion powder from dead alkaline batteries. Includes a good quality high-speed 7ft HDMI cable as well as the owners manual. Original purchase receipt included. In December 2006 I was having playback issues and sent it into the Sony repair station in Texas. Repair receipt included. There havent been any playback problems since. About 5 or 6 years ago the belts were slipping and making noise when loading discs and I replaced them with new belts. No belt problems since then. Just so you know; 400 DVDs is a lot of DVDs. The on-screen DVD directory has to be populated by one of two methods. First is to connect a computer keyboard by plugging into the front panel PS2 port and typing them in. If you use this method, I would plug the DVD player into a small uninterruptable power supply. I havent had any problems with the on-screen directory losing its memory since Sony worked on it in 2006, but I wouldnt want to take a chance. The second method is this player will automatically add the movie name to the directory IF the disc has DVD text in the IFO file on the DVD. Very sadly almost no DVDs have this text in the IFO file. My solution was to copy the DVD to the computer; add the DVD text to the IFO file and burn a DVD recordable disc to put in the player while putting the original DVD in safe storage. Sounds like a lot of work but if you only do a disc every once in a while, its manageable. Either method will work. I dont have the original box, so I put the player in my AV receiver box and doubled that into a FedEx box. Its all packed up and ready to ship. I will ship FedEx ground. USA only purchase please. Overall good shape, some scratches from stacking and moving, but displays very well.
