The 999ES is an audiophile grade player better than several other $2-3k units I have tried. And if you have SACD discs in multi channel, this unit has 5.1 audio outputs as well, which sounds better than multi channel through HDMI. This unit is as close to brand new that can be found. I have 3 units and selling this one from our lake house, used very little since I purchased. And yes it has the original remote, which is in pristine condition, including the battery compartment.ES unit, remote, power cord, and manual are all included. Tested and working. No remote. I tested with a DVD and all functions, buttons work. There is an issue with a broken knob that progresses the DVD. Looks fixable but I am unable to do so. See pics.
