Vintage 1995Sony Discman D247 In excellent used condition. No scratches, the metallic blue cover has a couple of small blemishes and the blue finish has rubbed a little at the edges (see photos) Comes with a carrying case (which according to the box was UK Only) It is hard to see in the pictures but there has been a small repair done to the inside of the left hinge of the battery cover. In very good working order. (see video) It copes great with cds that are clean or have some light scratches. I tried one with heavier scratches and it did struggle a bit, but that is to be expected. Complete with new rechargable batteries, I have replaced the expired cells in the original NiCad battery pack with some NiMH cells. Fully charged, I have had them running for 4 hours and 20 minutes on repeat before the player turned itself off. The player has a built in charging circuit which charges these batteries fine. The box is in excellent condition. I beleive all of the original paperwork is there. The original headhones and remote attachment are working well. It also has its original charger.
