I have been able to test both speakers and they work perfectly. One issue that Ive noticed is that the left port where the speaker is attached (pictured above) does not appear to work fully. When I connected the speaker the sound comes out very low ...however both speakers produce sound when connected to the right speaker. I dont have any CDs or tapes to test out those functions but I would error on the safe side n say they might have issues considering the age. I tested the remote and it does appear to switch to both functions. Item is being sold as is with no refunds.
