Sony CMT-MD1 - Compact Hi-Fi Component System - With Speakers (Radio Only) In good general condition but with a few scratches and marks as seen in the photos. Some scuffs here and there from general use but nothing major or noteworthy as shown. Please Note:While the radio works just fine and without any issues (Tested with my own personal aerial which will not be included) the rest of the unit does not seem to work at all. The CD tray at the top does not open and must be forced open to insert a disc. Upon doing so the disc will simply not read or play. Similarly, the mini disc tray flashes blue but will not play mini-discs at all to my knowledge. For some reason it simply does not switch to these functions on the screen and is incapable of anything other than the radio/tuner player. Sadly, I do not have the personal knowledge to fix this issue myself or investigate further, so please assume that only the main radio function will work and anything to do with the mini disc player or any other features on the unit does not. Due to this clear fault I will be selling this listing at a heavily reduced price to compensate for the lack of a fully functioning unit.This may be an easy fix in the right hands however.Please be aware of these faults before purchasing to avoid any confusion or disappointment. Additionally the speakers on each side are fully working. No extras, cables or wires as shown in the photos, just the attached power cable on the main unit and the speaker wires on the speakers to the sides. An extra aerial will need to be purchased separately in order to tune into radio stations.Please assume that if it is not pictured, it is not included with this listing. But for some reason the mini desk is refusing to accept any discs. And there is a code error flashing on the screen. “Disk error, C 14” Therefore, this item is listed on here for parts only. It comes with two speakers as you can see one of the speakers felt covering has a hole in it. Also a few antenna wires. Sadly, it does not have a remote control. The CD player needs attention - I have NO knowledge of these things, it sounds like a vinyl record sticking/like the needle has fluff on...everything else is working well.
