CD player works well. I do not believe this nis the original remote but it is compatible. By design the remote does not power the player ON/OFF or OPEN/CLOSE the tray, but works for most, if not all, the other functions. The player has a few scratches around. There is a few on top where other components were set. The face plate looks clean, maybe a few minor marks/imperfections. Nothing that I would consider to be bad.
