Up for grabs is this very nice, ready to go Sony CDP-508ESD single disc CD player set. The player is in excellent condition and comes freshly serviced ready for reliable use. The laser lens was cleaned and a new loading belt installed. Discs load up quickly and play perfectly throughout with zero skipping of any sort. A remote is included but it is not the original. Pressing CD on the remotes function section then lets you control basic functions like play, pause, skip tracks, rewind, and fast forward. If you have other Sony components you may be able to program it for those too. Also included is the original loading belt for reference, manual, and a set of RCA cables for hookup. We have for sale a paper original factory service manual for a Sony CDP-502ES and CDP-620ES. Generally clean unless noted otherwise. Please read below for details: We are selling off service manuals from our old shop and that of another friendly competitor from the area. These were both very active repair shops in their day and the manuals got used! We will try to point out any flaws we spot other than ones visible in the pictures. There is often writing in the manuals but generally it is helpful service information to help fix a quirky problem a technician encountered while working on the unit. When it says service notes on back page or see bulletins on the front cover it doesnt necessarily mean they are in this manual! Often the bulletins were kept elsewhere in the shop. PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS MANUAL IS AN EXACT MATCH TO THE COMPONENT YOU HAVE! Sometimes manufacturers will have more than one product out with similar but not identical circuitry, If youre unsure please ask questions first. The back side of the player hosts digital RCA and optical output so beside being an excellent CD player it can also be used as transport for reading your CDs when using an external DAC.Beside a standard pair of RCA outputs this model has an additional pair of RCA connectors with variable volume outputs.Comes with a brand new remote control and original user manual. This remote is not original, but works very well and has more features than the original Sony remote control.This is an excellent CD Player! It sounds amazingly good. It has signs of regular use, but it is extremely clean inside and out.Please take a look at the photos.If you have a high resolution system you will hear the sound improvements from the first moment you play the music from this player. If you do not, then this is a good start to improve your system and find out the weak link in your system as with this player you will have the audio source that you can use as a reference.This player is modified to express its fabulous sound.
