I’ve listed this a parts unit and not working since the cd door does not properly close without a gentle nudge midway in the return operation. This was a known issue when I purchased it about 11 years ago on eBay and it has not changed. Besides the door issue this Sony is built solid and has performed flawlessly. I am downsizing my Hifi focusing on vinyl and also selling a DAC and DTI please check out my other auctions. The bidding is starting low to let the buyer decide on the final price as parts units for this model are difficult to find. It comes with remote RM-DX50 and Stabilizer Puck as seen in the pics and all will be packed well. Additionally I can provide a short video of the cd drawer operating requiring a “gentle nudge”. Which stands for elevated standard. It was their top tier line. This is a very high end player. Very well constructed. The player sounds very good. I really like these older sony units. They Sound very analog compared to newer CD player. What is very unique about this player is the stabilization PUCK. After you Place your cd on the tray. You then place a sliver puck on top (please see video). The puck is included. The puck helps with jitter and other issues related to the spinning. There are some scuffs and minor scratches on the unit overall in good condition I pack very well with pool noodles and bubble wrap. This unit is heavy.
