As a result, a PLM (Pulse Length Modulation) wave whose amplitude level is always constant and changes only in the time axis direction is output. Then, by passing it through a low-pass filter, unnecessary high-frequency noise outside the audio band is removed to obtain a musical waveform.Additionally, the pulse D/A converter is equipped with multi-stage noise shaping calculations that employ 64x oversampling and the Sony Extended Noise Shaping method to reduce quantization noise in the audible band up to 20kHz.
