For sale is a Sony CDP-CX55 Megastorage Compact Disc Player/Changer. This Sony CD Player has an internal storage of 51 discs that you can play in continuous, shuffle (random), or programmed modes. It has been preowned and does show some signs of wear. There is what appears to be some kind of glue on the CD door (it can be seen in the photos) and some small surface scratches on the unit but it is in otherwise good condition. Sony CD Player CDP-CX55 Mega Storage 50+1 with Remote. Super clean unit that tested great. To service this unit we use DeoxIt D5 to clean and protect the buttons and knob. Removes oxidation and improves connection.The switches on this unit are good to go for years to come so operation will be smooth and predictable.We also opened the unit to clean the laser eye. Should be good for the foreseeable future as well. Readout is bright and solid. As nice as we come across on older units. Remote is spot on, all functions working as expected. It has all original pads on the bottom so its level. We took a close up picture of a small blemish to the front edge, not noticeable from an arms length away. No other cosmetic issues to point out. Do dings or dents or whatnot. This is a super nice unit and with the preventative maintenance should be doing its job for a very long time. Happy to help with anything.
