Working, listed as for parts/repair due to intermittent issue with not reading discs. PLEASE READ BELOW. SOLD AS-IS. Sony CDP-991 single disc CD player, early/mid 1990s vintage, top of the line when released. Its in working order-please note that every so often it would not start playing a disc (maybe once in 10 CDs), but turning it off and back on (with the disc still inserted) started it playing every time (if a disc is in the player, it starts automatically when the power is turned on). It never missed a beat during playback and sounds awesome. There is no remote control, but my Sony 300 CD changer remote worked great with the unit. I suspect most dedicated Sony CD player remotes will work, but your results may vary. The headphone output works and has a volume control, and there are two RCA outputs on the back, one fixed level and one volume controlled. It has a digital optical output as well. Cosmetic condition is very good. Please have a look at the pictures. Will be well packed by experienced persons to avoid damage in shipping.

Hallo Zum Verkauf steht ein super erhaltener Sony CDP-991 CD Player inklusive der orginalen Fernbedienung RM-D991. Es handelt sich um ein US Modell. Er kann mit 110-120 V( US ) und mit 220-240 V ( Deutschland ) betrieben werden. Adapter ist natrlich dabei sowie das orginal Audio Kabel von Sony. Er kann natrlich auch ber den optischen Zugang betrieben werden. Der CD Player ist in einen sehr gutem Zustand. Siehe Bilder. Er hat nur am oberen teil des Gehuses einen Kratzer der aber nur in einer bestimmten Sichtweise zu sehen ist. Er liet auch ohne Probleme gebrannte CDs. Sogar die Mini LED vom Lautstrkeregler der Kopfhrer leuchtet noch. Dies ist sehr selten. Das Display ist immernoch schn hell und hat keine Fehler und auch keine Kratzer. Natrlich funktioniert er und die Fernbedienung tadellos. Das Highlight an diesem Player ist, da er einen Soundprozessor verbaut hat. Das merkt man wenn man ihn mit einem anderen CD Player vergleicht. Und auch mit der richtigen Anlage verbindet. Er klingt einfach super. Ich hatte ihn auch gebraucht gekauft. Er stand lange in meinen Diensten. Ich habe leider keinen Platz mehr.
