In particular, this model does not behave well when a Mix-and-Match method is employed by the user regarding formats! For example, loading 200 DVD discs and 200 blu-ray discs into the changer at the same time will most certainly yield multiple Invalid Disc errors. Since day one, this has been an issue, and is not a unique to this particular unit! This problem has been well documented among many BDP-CX960 owners throughout the years.This model has long since been discontinued by the manufacturer, Sony, so bid with the expectation that you will be on your own regarding technical support should you encounter problems. Remember, Google is your friend! Despite having a few shortcomings, this model is very popular among owners, which means resources are plentiful, and easily found on the internet!This model has a rather long loading time depending on the loaded title, so patience is a must! It has been observed with this particular unit that an Invalid Disc error will sometimes display when the unit has not been utilized for long periods of time. Usually this type of error can be easily cleared by simply removing the disc in question from the changer, and then reinserting it back into the changer.
