Pair of vintage Sony APM 141ES hifi Floor speakers With Flat Square Drivers. Made in UK, 80 watts power nominal. These are big speakers, over 2ft tall, with three drivers each, There are two of the famous Sony square flat panel bass/midrange drivers and a german-made tweeter. The sound is very precise and controlled, with clear mids and good bass thanks to the ported reflex design.Some small marks to cabs and one grille has the cloth coming unstuck at the side for 2-3 inches. The grill mounting lugs are all fine, as are all the drivers and connectors.Postage not really an option, so collection only, or I could deliver in Wirral or Wrexham areas for a small fee. If they dont sell whole, I will dismantle and sell the drivers individually.

Sony APM-22ES Vintage Hi-Fi Speakers. A pair of 1980s highly sought and unique speakers. Dimensions approx 290 x 515 x 320mmWeight approx 13kg eachFinish - WalnutMade in Germany These are truly a collectors item, and in full working order. The grilles have a couple of signs of wear (see photos). This includes a broken top right pin, and a small ladder in the bottom left corner of one of the grilles. They actually stand a little proud of the speaker cabinet, which looks good. As you will see from the photos, they still fit fine, but more importantly, they still sound great. The cabiets are solid, and have a lovely curved / rounded rear. Although these are classed as bookshelf speakers, I have used them on small stands, slightly off the ground. They are quite weighty too. The cabinets are fine and solid. Get yourself a piece of history with these quality speakers. Due to the weight and size, these are for collection only (Greater Manchester). I can also provide a demo should any prospective purchaser wish to hear them in action.
